Static Labs LLC is a small, close-knit group of friends and family passionate about cybersecurity and game security. We are constantly exploring new aspects of offensive and defensive security. We bring genuine curiosity, dedication, and a willingness to learn in everything we do. We approach security challenges with fresh perspectives and creative thinking, unburdened by rigid industry standards or corporate hierarchies. Our small size means we can give personalized attention to each project and maintain direct communication throughout. We believe that sharing what we learn along the way helps not only us but also the broader community, and we are committed to growing together with those we work with. We are not a full industry standard SaaS (Security as a Service) but we provide what most cannot: flexibility and personalized attention tailored to your specific needs.
Our mission is to share what we have learned about security with other developers who might benefit from it. We know that many independent developers and smaller studios struggle to implement even basic security measures, leaving their projects vulnerable. By developing tools and sharing our experiences, we hope to help level the playing field a little bit. We are committed to being transparent about what we know, and we want to learn from the community as much as we hope to contribute. Our goal is to create an environment where we can all learn together and help protect each other's work from those who might exploit it.

We accept commissions for security testing and vulnerability assessments. If you would like us to find flaws in your website or game security, we will help identify issues and provide suggestions for improvement. We approach this as a collaborative process. Whether you are an indie developer working on your first game or someone looking to improve your security, we are happy to help. Reach out for collaborations, commission inquiries, or just to discuss security topics. We pride ourselves on clear communication and working closely with those we help.
Kubian Attestation - An Android Attestation system we are working on that supports both Android Phones and VR devices. The Kubian SDK is open-source, allowing developers to integrate attestation into their applications, while the backend verification infrastructure remains proprietary. Kubian is our attempt to make device verification more accessible to developers who might not have the resources to build their own systems. The attestation system uses hardware-backed security features present in modern Android devices to help verify device integrity. We are continuously improving it, and we hope it can be useful for detecting things like rooted devices, emulators, and modified applications. The SDK is designed to be straightforward to integrate with minimal code changes.
Beyond our open-source projects, we offer to help with security-related tasks based on what we have learned. We can help look at security architecture, test game clients and servers for vulnerabilities, and assist with anti-cheat implementation ideas. We work with developers of all sizes, primarily focusing on indie developers who might not have the resources for larger security firms. When we work with someone, we try to be collaborative and share what we know so that they can understand the issues and how to address them.
Static Labs LLC is based in Oregon, United States. From the Pacific Northwest, we work with people from around the world who share our interest in security. Our remote approach allows us to collaborate with others globally while staying in close touch. The Pacific Northwest tech community provides an inspiring environment where we can learn from others and continue growing. Despite working with people worldwide, we try to maintain the personal attention and accessibility that reflect our roots, ensuring everyone we work with feels supported regardless of where they are located.
